I've been quiet lately, my real job has me busy AF. But I found some time to install some Christmas presents on a very special person in my life.

This is my mom's Jeep Gladiator Mojave. I installed a 3.5" lift kit that retains all of the factory fox rezzi shocks and air bumpstops. We also installed an in bed tire carrier, for the new dirty life rims that have been ordered. Lastly we installed some side steps to help get get in and out of it now that it's lifted.

It will be a long term project and we'll get better with age like a fine w**e.

Next on the list are the rims then bumpers at some point.

Love ya mom.

I haven't been working in the shop on customers toys in a while, I've been busy with my main gig. But I took on a project for a good friend. This will take a while to complete, but he is cool with that.

This Comanche is ditching the renix wiring harness and computer and is getting a old 1 ho wiring and computer swap. With this swap the truck will get a matching HO AW4 Trans and a newer 231 transfer case with a sye.

Today was demo day, I remives all of the engine and dash wiring. I've worked on a lot of jeeps in my time but this one was by far the worst wiring rats nest, I don't know how it never caught on fire.

But we are going to clean all of it up and get rid of the fire hazard. This jeep will run great and will get easier to trouble shoot in the future if there is ever any issues with it.

It's never fun pulling a dash so I'm glad that's over with, now I just need to lay out the new harness and get it tied in to the factory mj rear body harness section.

I hate to say it but just because I'm posting doesn't mean I'm taking in any work, sorry guys.... Joe has been a solid friend over the years so this is my way to say thanks

Well another comanche another day... this mj is a factory pioneer, that means it's got mot all the cool guy stuff you could get in 1988. This includes a 4.0, an ax15 trans and a rear dana 44 along with the factory skid plate package that's fairly rare on a comanche. This mj has a few issues, first the 4.0 that is in is has been swaped out with a 4.0 out of a 2000. When they swaped the motor they used the wrong fly wheel and the jeep would have never started. But even if I replaced just the fly wheel it still has a rat's nest for a wiring harness. So.....

This comanche is about to get a HO motor and wiring harness swap. I've allready pulled the 2000 motor for another 2000 xj project I'm currently working on. I have a good low mile motor and harness ot of a 93 cherokee that will find it's way in to this comanche to revive thos mj and get it back on the road.
Stay tuned for the progress.

Getting lock actuators replaced on my GF 2010 JK. And although I love jeeps this is a stupid design. Replaced the front passanger and rear drivers lock actuators to get the locks working correctly. I didnt get a bunch of pics cause I was a little agrivated with how much of a PITA it was to get to the actual actuator.

Productive day in the shop today, I recived a jk8 front dana 44 housing ( brand new ), and the customer wanted to make it bullet proof for his jk on 35s. He brought me a full Artec industries apex truss kit that also included new HD control arm mounts, shock mounts, track bar mount, C gussets and the truss. Started at 10am this morning and am just now getting done with it. It takes time to PROPERLY weld a truss, you have to weld it and let it cool so that the heat doesent distort the metal and warp it rendering it useless..... this axle should be good for years of abuse under his JK... on to the next one, stay tuned.

Another one done, this jeep based rock buggy came in for me to build a skid plate over the dana 300. When the customer dropped it off there was also an issue with the hydro steering. I started by swapping the new psc pump in to the original 350 bracket and bleeding the system. Then I laied under the jeep and scratched my head on how I was going to build the skid plate. When I started there was a hoop on the crossmember for drive shaft clearance. I made a spreader bar on the rear of the t case and mimicked the radius from the front hoop and tied it in to the new spreader bar. Now I had a base to build off of. The hardest part was trying to mimic the radius of both hoops with 1/4" plate steering with no finger brake. I think the skid plate turned out BA. Customer also asked me to install kickers from top frame tube to the bottom frame tubing because it has started to deform from hitting the rocks with no bracing. A little porta power help and I got the frame as straight as I possibly could and installed the kickers/ braces. Ince all of that was done I fixed a fuel pump ring terminal and recharged his air bump stops. Ince the customer installed his new drive shaft he will be ready to party....
