Advanced Chassis

We are taking our 38 years of design and knowledge and spreading it to the rest of the world. Advanced Chassis is accepting applications to be part of a group that is always moving forward and always finding ways to do things smarter and faster. To be eligible you will have to be a chassis shop (tractor or car) with an EIN number. The buy in will be $300 which comes off your first purchase.

Membership will not only get you better pricing, but we have pictures and knowledgeable people to deal with as well.

Another membership perk is that we will have behind the scenes discussions on what to charge, ways to make jobs easier, good/bad customers/suppliers and so on.

Donia has proven to be a very capable partner in the office. With Chad departing and me having no desire to try three people in the office again, I am of course really busy. Please call the office at 419-258-2100. She has a list and makes sure I take care of everything within 24 hours. Please remember that we close at noon on Friday's so be sure to call before then. My cell phone is pretty much off limits for now. Especially after noon on Friday, and throughout the weekend. There is nothing I can do then, and it ruins my weekends.

As we move away from doing custom car fabrication we are working on kits to make it easier for other builders. Each kit will have dealer pricing behind the scenes for those that qualify.
These will be in no specific order, just as I fill orders online or on our builds. First up is our wheelie bar wheel holder kit ACK-501 Just the stuff you need for the wheel end. Retail is $95.

This is our new diesel truck back half. This was made for a Chevy 2500, but we’re checking the Ford and Dodge dimensions to see if this will work as well.

Hi everybody. Chad, had to leave Advanced Chassis due to medical issues that have held him out of work for a while. We wish him a full recovery. If you were working with Chad and are waiting on any answers please call Donia at the shop, she will make sure I get a hold of you and answer any questions you may have. We would greatly appreciate your patience as we work through yet another change.

I had a couple people thinking we were closing down, and nothing could be further from the truth. The thing is I can't take care of this many projects and do it correctly. (It’s hard to keep this many people busy and not make mistakes.) To that end we are temporarily shutting down all new builds of both cars and large tractors until I can regain control and ensure we can provide the customer service you deserve and expect. If you have a quote with us, we won’t forget you! We’ll keep in touch to let you know your timeline.

While my original goal was to get down to five cars, I have reduced that down to three cars and one large tractor at a time. Mini's are all built in Jigs so we can produce those from the parts department about any time so they will be available. All of our parts and components will be readily available as the remaining guys will be producing those parts from here on out.

We will be working daily with multiple people on each project to keep them moving.

Advanced Chassis first opened for the drag racing business but we had to diversify through the years to remain relevant. An ADHD mind never stops, so I’ve come up with about 30,000 ideas in notebooks left around the shop and at home. (Miss Traci’s words)

This is a product I built for the town as the semis keep tearing up our safety barriers.

Everytime someone hits them they have to be dug up and replaced. I designed these to be bolt together units with the bottom concreted into the ground so they can be easily replaced.

We had one hit so hard the other day that they sheared the flanges off the bottom. We then made reducer flanges for the bottom and installed 4” schedule 80 to them. The local concrete guy filled the old tubes up with concrete and dropped this in. Now it will be easy to change the rest of the nasty ones out. Just cut them off, fill the tubes with concrete and drop the flanged style in and wait.

As you can see ours take a beating. They all have the same bolt pattern so you can keep a spare in stock and swap them out as they new recoated.

We are not closing down the chassis shop, just getting it down to a manageable size as a project manager seems to be unrealistic for me.
