The home made particle separator worked great. And I still got around 18-20mpg with it installed and no check engine lights or erratic behavior with the engine means it's still getting the proper air fuel ratio. Winner winner chicken dinner! If you have a Can Am HD10 and want one let me know and I can get you taken care of.

I whipped up this homemade particle separator for the Can Am Defender.
Unfortunately S&B doesn't make a particle separator for this model...In the stock location they pull air right in front of the right rear tire. (The engineer that designed the stock intake deserves a swift kick in the family jewels for their idiotic accomplishment.)In Dusty conditions the air filter gets caked up with dirt real quick and y'all know I just can't have dirt in my engines. Stay tuned for the results as it's one of the driest years I can remember and shouldn't take long to see the results.

Success! 2021 Can-Am X3 Smart Shocks made me feel dumb... Until I found the multiple broken wires one on the shock harness and one in the main harness. That's what happens when the heim joint breaks off and yanks all the wiring out. Good thing they were in put put mode when it happened.
