Okay, probably a weird post here, because all you’re looking at is a tray of cans. 😂🍻

So let me explain this one.

We recently serviced a snowplow for a local brewery. When they came in to pay for the service, they dropped this off as a little thank-you.

Pretty cool, right? Absolutely! But you know what’s even cooler?

The fact that we’re a business that gets to be part of so many different pieces of this community.

We keep your local municipalities running, your landscapers working, your homeowners mowing, and heck, even the guy down the street sawing up firewood.

We see it all. And I mean ALL of it.

From the older gentlemen who stop in just to lean on the counter and shoot the breeze, to the little old ladies bringing in their pruning shears to be sharpened. From the homeowner keeping a 30-year-old mower alive to the young guy excitedly buying his first piece of equipment to start his own business.

We get to meet these people, hear their stories, watch their businesses grow, and sometimes even play a small part in making their dreams happen.

We’re not just a repair shop. We’re part of this community.

If Stonington Power were a tree, I’d like to think we’d be an old oak. Deeply rooted, standing strong, with branches reaching into just about every corner of the community around us. 🌳

And that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Anyway, I know I just turned a picture of a bunch of cans into a speech about community. 😂 But sometimes it’s the little things that remind you why you love what you do.

A huge thank-you to the folks at the brewery! We appreciate the gesture, the business, and the support.

And hey, don’t forget to bring that plow back next year! LOL! 🍻

Small business. Small town. Deep roots. Big appreciation. 🇺🇸

🍂 If it looks like fall, smells like fall, and feels like fall… it might actually be fall! 🍁

And what comes with fall? SURPRISE… LOG SPLITTERS! 😂🪵

Huge shoutout to Jesse for knocking out log splitter repair after log splitter repair this week! 💪

Funny how we barely see these things most of the year, but the second the temperatures start dropping, they all come out of hiding and suddenly everyone needs their log splitter serviced or repaired!

P.S. These are just the ones that got washed in the last 10 minutes or so of the day. We honestly lost count of how many came through the shop this week! 😂

🍁 Fall is officially here, and apparently so is log splitter repair season!

I’m not gonna lie, this one hit hard.

Sunday night, scrolling through Facebook Marketplace, because, well, that’s what us guys do. And WHAM. Just like that, there it was.

The truck that started it all is being parted out.

A long time ago, there was a young man with a vision, a dream, and a desire to carry on a legacy. Funny thing is, none of it really happened on purpose.

It all started with a $500 truck.

It wasn’t pretty, wasn’t fancy, and certainly wasn’t anything special to look at. But that old Dodge helped turn a dream into reality.

Fast-forward all these years, and here we are. A growing business, a crew of employees who depend on it to support their families, customers who have become friends, and a community that has supported us every step of the way.

It’s crazy to think how much has changed and how far we’ve come.

To most people scrolling Marketplace, these are just a couple of rust free old truck doors.

To me, they’re a reminder of where it all began, the sacrifices made, the long days, and the dream that somehow became reality.

The truck may be getting parted out, but the legacy it helped build is still going strong.

Never forget where you came from. Sometimes the biggest dreams start with a $500 truck.

A huge thank you to the entire family at Scott’s Blueberry Hill Farm for putting your trust in us and choosing Stonington Power for this purchase!

We’re looking forward to hearing how these machines perform out in the blueberry fields! 🫐

A personal thank you to Mat for a heck of a lot of phone time to pull this together!
