🔧 HIRING — EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN 🔧

Seems like every week I’m making another post looking for help, but we’re growing faster than our current crew can keep up with. We’re behind schedule, the workload keeps coming in, and I need reliable, experienced help.

This is not an entry-level position. I’m looking for someone with real automotive repair experience — not someone whose experience stops at oil changes, brakes, and basic maintenance.

Our shop handles a little bit of everything:

• Engine swaps & engine repairs
• Transmission swaps
• Differential repairs & rebuilds
• Timing jobs
• Suspension & steering
• Electrical & diagnostic work
• A/C repair
• General maintenance
• And pretty much everything in between

Most importantly, I need someone who will show up when they’re scheduled, take pride in their work, and understand that we work as a team.

We’re growing quickly, and I have much bigger plans for this business. I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with us and be part of what we’re building — not just collect a paycheck and disappear when things get busy.

My Mistake!

I always try to make sure we get customers in and out as quickly as possible. Sometimes I forget that parts aren’t always sitting on a shelf or easy to get. Sometimes they’re backordered, sometimes they aren’t made anymore, and sometimes it means being in Lewisburg, TN at 5 PM on a Friday trying to track down the last part we need to finish a vehicle.

We focus heavily on honesty and customer service, and when I tell someone we’re going to have their vehicle finished by a certain time and we miss that deadline, it weighs on me.

Most of our customers are incredibly patient and understanding, and I appreciate that more than you know. But I’m also learning that sometimes I create the problem by setting unrealistic expectations because I want to make everyone happy. That’s on me.

Going forward, I’m going to do a better job of giving realistic timelines. Repairs don’t always go according to plan. Bolts break, diagnostics take longer than expected, parts are wrong or unavailable, and sometimes one job can put the entire schedule behind.

If we have your vehicle and our timeline or process doesn’t work for you, please talk to us. We’ll be upfront with you, and if necessary, we’ll gladly recommend another shop or help you arrange towing. I would rather be honest with you than make a promise we can’t keep.

We’re running behind right now, and I apologize to anyone who has waited longer than expected. We’re working hard to catch up without rushing repairs or cutting corners.

When our whole focus is taking care of our customers, feeling like we’ve let someone down is hard — and believe me, it bothers me more than anyone.
