This rear window on a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird is the perfect example of why we charge hourly for tint removal.

From the outside, it doesn’t look like a difficult job. In reality, removing the old tint and adhesive from this rear glass took us almost an entire day.

When older tint starts to fail, it often comes off in tiny pieces, leaving stubborn adhesive behind. Add in the rear defroster lines that need to be protected, and the process becomes slow, detailed work that can’t be rushed.

While we’re spending hours on one vehicle, that’s time we can’t dedicate to other customers, which is why hourly pricing is the fairest way to handle tint removal.

If you’re considering having old window tint removed, just keep in mind that every vehicle is different. Some take an hour… others take all day.

Quality work takes time.

This Nissan Pathfinder came in for a customer-supplied Tesla-style radio installation. 🔥

These types of installs definitely keep you on your toes.

Many of these units don’t include detailed instructions, so every install involves careful testing, troubleshooting, and making sure all of the factory features integrate properly.

We were able to get everything working, but if you ask me personally, I still lean toward brands like Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, and Alpine because of their long-term reliability and support.

That doesn’t mean Tesla-style radios are off the table. If that’s the style and functionality you’re looking for, we’ll make sure it’s installed professionally and working the way it should.

In this video, I'm testing an LED light bulb with a drill battery.
You'll notice I connect it one way, then reverse the polarity—and it still lights up.
That's because many modern automotive LED bulbs are designed with internal circuitry that allows them to work regardless of polarity.
