Gonna have a little policy change happening here at the shop concerning old bikes. If you bring me a bike that’s sat in a barn for 20+ years, do not put a deadline on it. They are like Chevy brake line jobs. You fix one thing, another breaks. They take time. Between the quick jobs that pay the bills, service work, etc. I spend a lot of time at the shop working on a multitude of bikes, they are ALL a priority, not just yours. It will get done as fast as possible, but I will not cut corners.
I also will not send a bike that sat for decades out the door without putting a decent amount of seat time on it. I want it to be safe for you to ride. I care about my customers. If something is gonna happen, I’d rather it happen to me. I can ride out of 99% of s**t that could happen. I don’t know if you can, and don’t want to find out.
I will call you with updates as they happen. When it is done and ready for pickup, you will be the first to know.
As of Nov 1st we will be switching to winter hours. 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday. Saturdays by appointment only. If the overhead doors are closed, we will be open these hours. If you don’t call ahead and setup an appointment for Saturdays the shop will not be open.
