That's my Momma!

Mary Beth Reeves is the first-generation drag racer who started it all for this three-generation team. Back in the day, she tore up the track in a 2003 SRT-4 that she bought new and still owns.
These days, her most important job is keeping the whole team grounded amidst the crazy hustle and bustle at the track.

Flashback Friday. Ken Adler in the right lane with his 1987 GLHS and James Reeves in the left lane with his 1988 Shelby Z at Edgewater Sports Park in 1997. Still have that car.

No actual rain yesterday, because it was a beautiful day, just not our day!

✝️ ⏰ served mass at 10am, but made it for the 2nd of 2 time trials, they called juniors as we were held up at the gate with a technical issue.

🚫🛑 fast forward to round 1, super close mov @.006 not in my favor...realized that my brakes were not working on the big end & had to coast back to the pits. 😳😳

💡 after thinking we were done for the day, as we had no time to rebuild the master cylinder- they already put us on standby! Mom realized that we had June's car so we borrowed hers & made the call! Parts car! 😂

✌🏼round 2, get to the lanes & starter won't work.
Borrowed one & I was able to make a great pass & push my opponent to breakout and get the W.
Round day.

🤢 I sucked on the tree & broke out. Done for the day.

crew chief ever!

Great day at Kentucky Dragway! First race of the season was fun! Went some rounds, but it wasn’t our day. Awesome weather & racing are always great combo.

Can’t wait to be back out next weekend in Georgia!
