Can you believe it takes this many pads to do a 2 step paint correction on a medium sized vehicle?
Well it did, for us anyway and they range from 1-5.5ā in size.
After soaking for a while to help breakdown compound/polish they are all thoroughly cleaned by hand, spun out, layed out to dry, inspected for signs of wear or failure where they then get tossed or put away until the next project.
They all serve a different purpose in the paint correction process. Some are for cutting out heavier defects (scratches & swirl marks), some are for polishing out lighter defects, and some are for refining the paint after the cutting step.
