Q: What are the best skills you bring to your position?

A: Honesty, reliability, dedication, and I am very personable.

Q: What is your favorite season and what do you enjoy most about it?

A: I love winter because I can bring out my winter clothes, and my grandson loves to snow ski.

Q: If you could eat dinner with any historic person, who would it be and why?

A: My mom because she was a great woman.

Q: How would your family and friends describe you?

A: Bubbly, mother like, and all around a good person.

Q: If you could witness any event from the past, present, or future, what would it be?

A: I want to be around to see Kendal graduate from college, get married, and start a family.

Q: Who is one of your favorite people to work with and why?

A: Mathew George because he is always there for me when I need him, and he puts up with me.

Our April Employee of the Month is Melissa Primes, our Office Manager! Here's the nomination that one of her teammates presented that describes Melissa: "I wanted to nominate someone who honestly probably doesn’t realize how much they do for everyone around them.

What stands out to me about them isn’t just their work ethic — although they absolutely give 100% all the time — it’s the fact that they still show up fully even on the days when you can tell they’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or just not feeling their best. They still help people, keep things moving, and still make sure everyone else is okay.

They’ve somehow become the person who wears a hundred different hats around here without it ever being officially assigned to them. The person people go to when they need help, reassurance, guidance, encouragement, or honestly just someone calm to talk to during a hectic day. And they do it all so naturally that I don’t even think they realize how much they hold together behind the scenes.

What I appreciate most is their kindness. Not in a forced or performative way — in a real way. They notice when people are struggling. They offer encouraging words. They make people feel supported without making a big deal out of it. That kind of presence changes a workplace more than people realize.

I think sometimes the people who carry the most are also the least likely to ask for recognition, which is exactly why I wanted to say something. They deserve to be acknowledged not just for what they do, but for the kind of person they are while doing it."
