It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to Scott, owner of Scotty's Sandbar. This shared post greatly explains who Scott was, much better than I could.
I only knew Scott for 3 years, but right off the bat he treated us like friends. He believed in us when no one else did and gave us the opportunity to start Bay City Boat Rental at his docks. Without him, we quite literally would not be in business. We owe you everything Scott, and you will never be forgotten. Everything we do in the future will have a piece of you in it, your legacy will live on through us and many others. Rest easy, man. 🙌
This is Scott Causley .
He was always putting off this energy. His smile was an authentic expression of his love for what he did, which was be a champion for the scene, among other things. But that's how we knew him at the couch, and how many knew him.
We lost Scott to the universe,
And this loss is felt in the city by the bay, something fierce.
Scott was a true believer of the scene.
He understood what art and music did for his community, and he championed that non stop.
How in on God's green earth does our scene handle the holes left by the loss of souls like Rob of bemos bar, and Scott of Scotty's sandbar, And just a couple years back, Bo White of Whites bar in Saginaw?
These men uplifted the community at the grass roots level like no others,
It's is important to carry on the legacy's left by true believers of your scene, for its how we even got here.
All of our love to Scott and his family, and Scotty's sandbar.
Bay city is lesser today,
What a hard year,
If anything , I think these fellerz would want to see us go harder for the cause.
Don't stop now, bay city.
Manifest the dream.
Show Scotty's Sandbar your love and support.
