This week's Pride Spotlight, Gloria Watkins (aka bell hooks) 🌈

Born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, bell hooks was a writer, scholar and activist whose work profoundly shaped conversations around love, liberation and justice. Across more than 30 books, she challenged systems of power while inviting readers to think more deeply about race, gender, class, feminism, sexuality, self care, and all the ways these experiences intersect.

Her writing was both tender and fearless, grounded in the belief that love is a practice and a powerful force for change. For so many, her work has opened doors to understanding, healing and a more honest vision of what a just world could look like.

This Pride Month, we honor bell hooks and the enduring legacy of a Kentucky voice that continues to guide us toward love, truth, and liberation for all. ❤️
