A great paint repair isn’t finished when the paint goes on. One of the last steps is wet sanding.

Wet sanding means using very fine sandpaper with water to gently level the surface of the cured clear coat. It smooths out tiny imperfections like orange peel (the slight texture that can look like an orange’s skin) and dust specks, so the finish can be polished to a clean, even shine. The water keeps the sandpaper cool and helps carry away debris as the technician works.
