Being a small family owned business sometimes things get hard…………….. 😔
From one of the most important people in our business being in the hospital from a life threatening illness and having to go through a major surgery 😢 he’s the reason EXPO QUIK STOP is open and running 💯
To watching one of our main cooks have to leave Thursday in the middle of Uncle Bob’s Chicken Fried Steak Day because of severe mouth pain then to hearing one of our employees screaming my name because one of our other main cooks passed out and hit her head 😢
I won’t say any names but if y’all know us you can put 2 and 2 together and figure out who it is………….😢
All of this happened in the last 7 days…….
Last Friday it started and its still going on……………😔
This past week everyone has been so worried about the ROCK of the business and I’ve had to step up and do so much extra work it’s unreal but I’ve managed to pull through. At times I’ve wanted to run away but I can’t because it’s bigger than just me 😔
Yesterday my cashiers and cooks went through it with the customers and I’m super proud of the way they handled each and every situation. Customers were asking to speak to the cooks because their orders were taking too long but no one sees all of the call in orders or Door Dash orders in addition to their orders. But trust me they’re working on each and every order and trying to get it out as quick as possible. Always remember we cook each order fresh ❤️ and at the same time I had a very important dinner I was catering so just imagine the chaos. It was so busy it was unreal 😵💫
Also, the phone was sat down today in the middle of taking an order and dealing with customers in person and they had to deal with hearing about that too 😔 if only people knew how bad my Expo Family feels when they make mistakes people would rethink the things they say to them.
Being short handed and having key players down there were some mistakes made yesterday. I personally witnessed a customer walk in saying his burger was burnt and there was a customer that posted on social media that his burger was burnt……😔
All of my employees thought I was mad at them because of all this but I’m not. I’m proud of the way they stepped up to have my back………….❤️ they’ve been working long hours, doubles, running errands for me, and showing me how much they truly care about me and my family 🥹 I truly hate that anyone had a bad experience or had to wait too long but we do our best to make everyone happy and everything right……💯
If you ordered a burger yesterday and it was burnt please give me a call and we will
make it right for you❣️I have all the tickets so all you have to do is call and say your name or send me a PM. Once again I’m extremely sorry that happened……….
I’m extremely proud of all of my Expo Family for everything they’ve done for me and my family ❤️ tears behind the smiles, pain in their bodies, no sleep, and going the extra mile to make sure the store is open and running. We strive for perfection and no matter the mistakes made yesterday I’d choose each and every one of them again and again.
As you begin your day today remember we’re all human and you never know what someone is going through. There were some harsh things said to my employees and I just want everyone to remember in the end we will always be judged 💯
Be patient, caring, compassionate, loving, and most of all just know you never know what’s going on when things are happening. It’s hard enough for family owned businesses and I speak for all of them. We answer the phone when corporate tells you to email, we fix issues while you wait on the higher ups to return your calls, you see us and you never see the faces behind the big corporations…….. WE CARE!
Please continue to support small businesses and share share share this message ❤️
Thank you so much for the continued love and support………………..❣️
Keep our Expo family in your prayers 🙏🏾
We need it 😢
