We borrowed this from a friend who wrote it for their own business.
Can we talk about no-shows for a minute?
When you no-show a small business, you’re not hurting a big corporation with hundreds of customers walking through the door every hour. You’re affecting a real person who set aside that time specifically for you.
That appointment slot can’t be replaced at the last minute. It’s lost income, wasted time, and money that many small business owners count on to pay bills, support their families, and keep their businesses running.
I understand that things happen. Emergencies come up. Schedules get mixed up. But completely disappearing without a text, call, or message is frustrating and disrespectful.
Small business owners spend years building their businesses, investing in education, products, equipment, and creating the best experience possible for their clients. The least we ask for in return is basic communication and respect for our time.
If you can’t make it, just say so. A simple message takes less than a minute and makes a world of difference.
To the clients who show up, communicate, and support small businesses consistently—thank you. You’re the reason we keep doing what we love. ❤️✨
