Due to a fear of rust, many enthusiasts seek out classics from favorable climates to park in their garages. That fact and its inherent desirability help explain why this 1973 Pontiac Trans Am has generated considerable interest since it hit the market. It is a prime restoration candidate, with only....

As we continue to see prices for prewar automobiles plummet, insult is added to injury when yet another rare car emerges after decades in hiding. Cars that once would have had enthusiasts fighting for a chance at now garner little attention and even less money from the shrinking collector car market...

This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 can rightly wear the survivor label. From its original paint to its numbers-matching V8, it is a well-preserved classic that presents nicely. There is scope for the buyer to make some cosmetic updates to improve its appearance, but some readers will agree it should rema...

Open the doors to this barn in Bushnell, Illinois, and what will you find? A 1965 Ford Mustang with a six-cylinder engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. It was a common sight back in the day, as hundreds of thousands of them were built in a relatively short period of time. This one has been...

Sales were down by roughly half from 1969, and they were nothing like the heyday in 1966 when 97,000 GTOs left the assembly line. The seller’s car is a 1970 GOAT convertible, one...

While we tend to be impressed by owners of supercars and restomods these days, it seems the previous version of peacocking in the car world was to buy a special edition model and put it on ice for a few decades. Pace cars, anniversary editions, and collaborations with celebrities were all triggers a...

When you think of projects, you probably envision a mostly complete vintage car that needs a lot of work. That description does not cover the seller’s 1973 Chevrolet Nova coupe, which is largely a body sitting on a cart. Some add-on pieces are there, like the hood and bumpers, but there is no engi...

So, what's under the tarp, you ask? Well, logically, it's the trashed folding top for this 1952 Pontiac Chieftain convertible, but I think full visual disclosure would be better. Regardless, this is a neat find, a car that doesn't turn up too often. The question is its salvageability; why don't we t...
