🌿 Welcome to Episode 4 of our “Always Architectural” Series that discovers the design and form of the luxury structures of Beverly Hills.

This week we look at Two Rodeo Drive, one of the most photographed destinations.

Completed in 1990, Two Rodeo Drive was imagined as more than a shopping destination.

Developer Douglas Stitzel envisioned an intimate European village where architecture would become part of the luxury experience itself.

Instead of creating another enclosed shopping center, he built the elegant open-air promenade inspired by the great streets and piazzas of Italy and Southern Europe.

Walk along the Via Rodeo any day and as you look up, you see how all was carefully designed to slow your pace and encourage you to truly experience the space.

More than three decades later, the vision remains intact. The breathtaking architecture continues to define the experience.

This is one of the rare retail environments where the buildings housing the world renowned brands are every bit as memorable as the luxury boutiques themselves.
