1/3 (0.333) Mile Slightly-Banked Paved Oval with an inner Figure 8 It opened in 1948 with a 1/3 mile oval. The dirt track was paved in the 1959, and a Figure 8 Course was later added to the infield. During the 1990's, the Speedway continued

to grow in popularity and possibilities with the addition of a 4/10 mile, progressively banked, asphalt oval short track. The roar of racing returned to the BIRCH RUN SPEEDWAY & EVENT CENTER on Friday, June 30, 2017 with excited fans in attendance for the season opener, EVE OF DESTRUCTION. 📢 Event Cancellation Notice – Friday, July 17

Due to poor air quality and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our drivers, crews, staff, and fans, Mr. Suski has made the decision to cancel tonight's racing program at Birch Run Speedway (Friday, July 17).

While we know this is disappointing, the safety of everyone at the track is our top priority.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone back at the speedway soon. Please watch our page for updates regarding upcoming events.

I am sorry to say but do to weather air quality and listening to fans and some drivers we are looking at at fans and drivers also crew members safety and health we will not be racing tonight sorry
