Set of four stainless F100 flipper caps. I spent some time straightening these out. Not perfect but perfect for a driver. I left the original paint in the recesses for my patina 65 F100. Didn’t run these because I decided I liked no caps better. These will fit the 15” and 16” F100 wheels with outtie nubbins. $275 plus shipping

Neglected to cover how I put the doors together so far. I cut off the hinge mount and front window section from the crew door and spliced them into the single cab doors after removing the hinge mount and wing vent area. The reason for using the single cab doors was to put the window crank in the same position as the front and be able to use factory steel door panels inside. Was quite a bit of work but I want to achieve a factory look to the doors when finished.

Needed patch panels for the B posts on the crew cab. I’m reskinning the doors because the corners were rusted so I thought I’d use the solid center portions of the old skins. Modified a hammer form from another project to turn the flanges. Has worked out pretty well so far.

Took a break from the crew cab to shorten up a couple stainless trim strips for a 57 Chev Bel Air I worked on a couple years ago. Took 1/2” off both, welded the ends back on, sanded and polished to finish them up.

Have made quite a bit of progress on the crew cab this week. Cut off the old cab back and spliced the new back on further back to allow the new rear doors to be made the same length as the fronts. Mocked up the driver rear door inner and window opening. I used the complete inner door from the front to allow a factory steel panel to attach on the inside.

Sent the 64 off to live with Fabian Dominguez somewhere down south today. Was able to achieve the dream of building a powerstroke powered truck for myself I was fortunately able to enjoy for a couple years. But it was time to move on to other projects and ideas. Thanks Fabian!

Making progress on the 67 crew cab. Reinstalled the air box, inner cowl sides and inner rockers. Mocked up the firewall and finished repairing the front floor board. Looking forward to getting to the fun stuff, lengthening the back doors and roof.
