Steve’s truck is still in the shop. This morning, they called to let us know it might be ready by Monday.

So, we jumped into action and started looking for a rental truck. We found one at our local Enterprise location and immediately booked and paid for it online.

I dropped Steve off, and I hadn’t even made it a mile down the road before my phone rang. It was Steve telling me to pick him up!

Turns out they were overbooked and didn’t actually have a truck available—even though our reservation had been confirmed and paid for!

Needless to say, Steve is now on the phone with corporate filing a complaint. Let’s just say he’s not exactly thrilled right now. 😡

Steve’s truck went into the shop yesterday, so we decided to take advantage of the downtime and do a little “tire kicking” looking at 5th wheel toy haulers. 😄

We never mentioned that Steve is an RV tech . Watching the salesperson’s face when Steve started noticing damages, explaining systems, and proving he knew exactly what he was talking about was priceless! 🤣

Can’t blame them!! Steve has a full day of installing RV Air Conditioners and I have a full day of reporting and conducting surveys for my job!
