JOB DESCRIPTION: The Welder position, under the guidance of the team lead, is responsible for welding parts and equipment together as required to meet company production.
JOB DUTIES:
• Weld product to meet specifications
• Measure instruments and measure workpieces
• Visual Inspection of completed work meets required Quality expectations
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of equipment and facilities
• Follow, create and help maintain welding procedures and Welder related tasks
• Provide a great level of detail and focus on given assignment
• Follow all Safety Policies
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read a tape measure appropriately
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certificate course in MIG welding
• Completion of a High School Welding Program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY:
Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 4:45 pm, except during summer hours which would be (5:30am to 3:45pm)
Overtime is mandatory, as required

Duties:
• Performs all general required tasks as directed by Facilities Lead
• Perform exterior clean up and organization
• Uses floor machines for buffing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming and carpet cleaning safely, according to proper usage,
• Performs all tasks within proper safety guidelines, company guidelines, and as directed by management
• Follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, proper attire, and working conditions such as hours and timekeeping
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed
• Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables
• Daily trash collection
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
• Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
• Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs
• Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances
• Accept other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:
• Must be able to read and write
• Basic math skills needed
• Education and Preferred Training: High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred. Drug screen and background check.
Essential Functions
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting
• Ability to operate small power tools
• Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air conditioned
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders
• Can work independently and in stressful environments

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
• Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production and product inconsistencies.
• Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.
• Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
• Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
• Must wear gloves and ear protection.
