Big Rog Speedway is a rc track located in Wyatt Indiana that races 1RC Midgets on nights scheduled to run.

So here is the schedule for this winter racing. Its going to be a busy November with Rodco getting rolling so we are starting slightly later this year. The 2 day shootout is not going to happen this year due to Rodney actually going to the real one. We still have a 2 day race after that though. The other announcement is we are going to run the 1:24 scale pavement late models as a class if we get enough. Its a even cheaper class to get into for the fendered guys or anyone wanting to try a new style of car. The rules will be similar to midgets as it will be stock using stock radio. There is no option for a 5 cell as they won't fit anyway so it will only be a 4 cell. Midget rules stay the same and the rules are on this page for those that need to know if you haven't run with us yet. The big one is no tire doping. You can use straight water to clean tires. We have to make the carpet last! We are NOT doing points this year either. Everything else is pretty much the same. Come have some fun. Again want to thank Rodney Stealy for giving us the place to run at Concept Chassis and Heather Wolf for putting alot of her time into this as well. Without those 2 there would be no Big Rog to come have fun on. As always if there is any questions we will do our best to answer them. See you all next month.

Big car season is winding down and that means indoor season at Big Rog is right around the corner! Have had a few people ask about a schedule and that is coming soon. We are also going to add a stock car class to and it might be the new 1/24 scale late model. It's a even cheaper setup then the midgets and might be a perfect size for the speedway. There is currently one at the shop if anyone wants to take a peek at it before test night. Might be another great class to feed the need for our fendered loving friends.

Final scheduled midget ravce at Big Rog this Saturday!! Its a point night as well! Practice Friday after 4pm no charge. Practice starts at 2pm on Saturday, pill draw closes at 5:45 racing at 6. Come out one more time and play. Any questions please ask. Would love to see everyone. We are also looking for any feedback for next season. We have had several suggestions and are always up for more. Don't be afraid to suggest something. See you Saturday!!

Final non point night at the Rog. We had a couple new drivers which was awesome to see! Had 16 in Focus and 14 in National class. It was a great night! Shout out of night to Nick Stremme on his first podium! He was fast and led a lot of the Focus feature. Here's the order. Thanks to everyone that came to play!

This Saturday the 7th is midget time again! Like always you can come Friday after 4 and tune up for Saturday. Practice is free! Saturday Practice is at 2. Pill draw closes at 5:45 sharp. Racing at 6. We are down to only a couple races left.

Torsion bar sets from Scott Orr will be available for 20.00 a set for anyone that wants them. He has about 12 sets made.

One more quick note. There has been some controversy surrounding the torsion bars in the midgets. These were a legal 1rc midget part but was not being made anymore by 1rc so they are harder to find. Scott Orr and Ryker Orr have made exact clone bar sets. These are exactly what 1rc would have sold. Same wire size, brass tubes and brackets 3d printed. We are allowing these to be purchased through Scott or Ryker so anyone that wants one can get one. NO MORE controversy. Yay!

Reminder we don't run this Saturday. The next race is on the 7th. We will have open practice that Friday night after 4 for anyone wanting to tune. After that the 21st is the final night which is also a point night. Let's see the mighty midgets on the last 2 weekends!

So we would like some opinions on if we want to start a Sportsman class thats aimed at newer people. We want everyone to get some feature time even when learning. Right now we are tossing around starting one and want some opinions. You could still run the regular classes if you choose. The difference would be there would be no payout in Sportsman class but winner stickers still. If you podium in any of the regular classes you are not eligible to run Sportsman class. If you win a couple Sportsman features you would also have to move up. Again we want to aim this class at newer people. Please let us know your thoughts on this. Thank you all!
