Looking for the hottest thing to do all summer with your spouse, kids, partner, pet even?⤵️

My wife and I went through Sasquatch Adventures and tried the brand new Shuttle and Float.

✅You park at Columbia Gorge Outlets
✅Fitted Life Jacket, Tube, and Locker (if needed)
✅Shuttle and drop of at Dabney Park
✅Pick up at Glenn Otto Park

The best part: Shuttle was only $19 including the gear and we could ride all day.

Since there was no rush to go home we could grab a tasty bite or treat at Sugarpine Drive-in!

Overall, I’d recommend this weekend fun to anyone who wants to kick back and enjoy the sun while not having to worry about a thing.

The weekend trip to the waterfalls is officially a trap. 🚗❌

If you try to drive yourself to the Waterfall Corridor right now, you’re looking at endless red tape, sold-out lotteries, and a high-stress parking battle that ruins the entire vibe.

The inner circle skips the compliance line completely. When you launch your day from our centralized Troutdale base camp at the Outlets, you drop the logistical anxiety at the door.

By consolidating solo drivers into our double-decker loops, our community takes up to 30 idling cars off the Historic Highway per trip-instantly dropping carbon waste and protecting the air quality of our ancient forests. Why white-knuckle your steering wheel when you can ride with the legend? 🌲✨

11 reasons why you shouldn’t drive your own car straight to Multnomah Falls this weekend 👇

1. The "Lot Full" Trap: Arriving after a long drive only to be greeted by a flashing red sign and a line of brake lights.

2. The 2026 Permit Panic: Forgetting to refresh the website at 7 AM for a timed-use reservation and getting turned away at the gate.

3. The Date Day Destroyer: Ruining a romantic morning by spending an hour aggressively circling asphalt instead of looking at waterfalls.

4. The Toddler Highway Hike: Having to park miles away on a sketchy shoulder and walking your kids along a busy highway with no sidewalk.

5. Suffocating the Firs: Sitting with an idling engine in dead-stop gridlock, pouring toxic carbon emissions directly into a protected ecosystem.

6. The No-Service Scramble: Losing cell reception in the canyon right when you desperately need to download your digital parking passes.

7. White-Knuckle Switchbacks: Trying to appreciate the historic 1916 scenery while dealing with an impatient tailgater riding your bumper.

8. Missing the Gateway: Rushing past the local boutiques, galleries, and world-class eats in Historic Downtown Troutdale just to go sit in traffic.

9. The 5 PM Exhaustion Wall: Trying to navigate crowded, narrow forest roads when you’re completely sun-dazed and wiped out from hiking.

10. Total Sensory Overload: Trading the quiet, restorative peace of the woods for the high-stress chaos of a packed tourist parking lot.

11. Missing the Ultimate Bypass: Forgetting that the enlightened crowd just parks for free in Troutdale, because a Sasquatch ticket is your official permit past the gates.

11 reasons why you shouldn’t drive your own car to float the Sandy River this weekend 👇

1. The Two-Car Caravan Trap: Burning an hour of prime sunshine just driving back and forth to swap keys.

2. Lost in the Canyon: Dropping cell service while trying to figure out which launch parking lot your crew is actually at.

3. The Vinyl Graveyard: Buying a cheap $15 big-box store plastic tube that you know is going to pop on the first hidden rock.

4. Heartbreaking Trash: Realizing that popped plastic tube just got left behind, polluting our beautiful local riverbanks.

5. The Manual Pump Meltdown: Standing in 90-degree heat trying to blow up four different pool floats with a cheap hand-pump.

9. The 5 PM Danger Zone: Trying to navigate tight, winding roads when you’re sun-dazed, dehydrated, and exhausted.

10. Suffocating the Ecosystem: Adding unnecessary carbon emissions and gridlock to our vulnerable local parks.

11. Missing the Insider Hack: Passing up free parking in Troutdale to let a professional handle all the logistics while you relax.

My wife and I floated the Sandy River this weekend, wanting to soak in the community warmth and the summer sun. But pulling up to the riverbank and finding shredded, abandoned plastic embedded in the shoreline was a heavy reminder of why we do what we do. 💔🌊

We refuse to let our beautiful state parks become a graveyard for cheap, disposable vinyl. Our natural spaces are a gift, and keeping them pristine requires an active, collective choice from all of us.

When you choose Sasquatch Shuttle, you are standing for something bigger than just a fun weekend. You are choosing a zero-waste footprint:

-The 1-Car Solution: You only need ONE car instead of two to coordinate your float, instantly cutting toxic vehicular congestion and emissions at Glenn Otto and Dabney Park. 🚗💨

-Guardians of the River: We provide high-quality, professional-grade rental tubes that won't pop on the rocks, complete with premium, fitted life jackets to keep your family safe. 🛶✨

-The Safe Ride Home: We act as your "Designated Legend," providing a reliable transport safety net to prevent car accidents and keep impaired drivers off our community's roads. 🛡️🚐

Let’s change the culture of how we interact with the wild. Let’s leave it better than we found it.

The Columbia Gorge has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world during the summer time. Too bad the state is gatekeeping everything through paid parking… It doesn’t have to be that way and it shouldn’t. With Sasquatch Shuttle you can go see all of your favorite waterfalls and not have to worry about any parking permits, and traffic hassle and you can simply be at peace seeing the beautiful views. 😍
