Here is a great example of why we use a wax-based undercoating product instead of a rubberized undercoating. With a rubberized undercoat, water and moisture can get trapped beneath it and cause rust to form from behind. This truck is a great example. With a wax-based undercoat this can't happen. It doesn't allow moisture to get trapped behind the coating because it does not dry or harden. Our product of choice is PFC by Berkebile Oil Company. This past weekend we had the privilege of attending the PFC Professionals 2026 Users Group event at Berkebile Oil Company alongside some other undercoating shops across multiple states. We had the opportunity to tour their facility, learn more about the company and their products, and see some very cool product demonstrations. They also introduced us to some new products that we are excited to use at the shop for an overall better undercoat service and experience. We want to give a huge thank you to Berkebile Oil Company and Rust Wrangler Somerset for putting on a great event!
