People often ask why we don’t tow for motor clubs or why we don’t work through third parties that do towing and here are the strong reasons on why!
1. We answer to our customers, not insurance companies. Our priority is doing what's best for the customer and their vehicle, not following a third party's preferred process.
2. Faster service with fewer hoops to jump through. Insurance billing, approvals, and dispatch requirements can add extra steps. Working directly with customers lets us focus on getting the job done.
3. We control our own pricing. We can set fair, competitive rates without being limited by contracted rates or third-party pricing requirements.
4. We don't believe in sacrificing service for volume. We'd rather focus on quality work and personal service than chase high volumes of insurance-dispatched calls.
5. We keep the customer in control. Customers can choose Hometown directly instead of being directed toward a towing company selected by their insurance provider.
6. Less paperwork, more towing. Fewer administrative requirements mean more time spent operating trucks, helping motorists, and serving our local communities.
7. We want to stay independent. Hometown can make its own business decisions, choose its equipment and service priorities, and operate without being tied to an insurance company's network requirements.
8. We focus on fair, straightforward pricing. We can explain our rates directly to customers instead of dealing with complicated contracted pricing structures.
9. We invest in our own equipment and capabilities. Maintaining towing and recovery equipment, especially heavy-duty equipment, is expensive. We need to price our services in a way that supports our equipment, operators, and ability to respond when people need us.
10. Our loyalty is to the community we serve. Hometown is a local business built around helping people in our area. We want to maintain the personal service and accountability our customers expect.
