2018 KTM 450sxf came in for a fresh rebuild. So we had Crank Works do the transmission and the crankshaft. Racers edge ported the head with some mondo valves, and bored the throttle body. (DCR) Daniel Crower piston and camshaft combo. We freshened everything up and installed a Vortex, tuned it so we have two maps to work off of plus the stock traction control abilities. This thing will be heading down yo Lodi next weekend and I’m pretty sure there will be plenty of power to work with. Thank you Hinton family for allowing me to do the cool stuff. Got this nice ls3 lemans in for a no start. I went thru it and checked out the wiring and relays and fuel pump. After some wire testing and tracing it turns out it had 3 bad relays so we replaced all the relays with new Bosch relays instead of the Amazon ones that were in it.

When doing any engine and especially engines with a aftermarket parts it is a good idea to check and adjust deck height as needed. This engine is at .006 without the head gasket so once torqued down it will be sitting at a .046 with the head gasket. This is a little on the racier side but that’s what we are doing here.
