Another Dinitrol undercoating done.

On this one we shot ML a penetrating product to creep in and push out any moisture and cap off the rust. Then we shot 4941 black over everything. This dries to the touch and is extremely durable against the Ohio winters. This product dries to the touch which is nice if you ever have to work on something.

Oh yeah and we shot some Igl eclipse on the wheels to bring out some depth and protect them.

Just realized I never posted some after a of that frame the other day.

Rust starts where you can’t see it — inside seams, cavities, and boxed frame sections. That’s why every rustproofing job we do starts with Dinitrol ML. It creeps into those hidden areas, pushes out trapped moisture, and chokes out surface rust at the source.
Then we finish the job: 4010 seals engine bays and visible metal with a hard, clear finish, and 4941 goes o as the thick, road-ready underbody coat.

Three products. One dry, protected underside. That’s not oily and greasy.

Message us to get your vehicle scheduled.

Are you team rot……. Or team Not?

Undercoatings are becoming popular around here. Knocked a few out today.

Ohio roads are hard on vehicles. Salt and brine get into seams, frame rails, and cavities and start rusting from the inside out. So we don’t do a single spray. We use three Dinitrol products, each for a different job.

Step 1: Dinitrol ML
A thin, penetrating rust inhibitor. It creeps into seams, pinch welds, and tight spots, pushes out moisture, and stops rust that’s already starting.

Step 2: Dinitrol 4010 (clear ish)
A thicker wax we use inside frame rails, doors, rocker panels, and other hidden cavities. It sticks, stays flexible, and seals over the ML so moisture and salt can’t get back in. We also use this in a brand new vehicle scenario where we don’t need black.

Step 3: Dinitrol 4941 (black)
A tough underbody coating for wheel wells and exposed areas underneath. It stands up to road spray, gravel, and salt, and it cuts down road noise too.

Each layer handles something the others can’t: getting in deep, sealing it up, and taking the hits.

New or used, the sooner it’s protected, the better. Message us or call to get on the schedule before winter.

Fall's coming in fast and you know what's right behind it — salt trucks.

Ohio winters are rough on vehicles. That salt and brine they spray gets kicked up into every seam, bolt, and panel under your truck and just sits there working away at the metal. And on the paint side, it's the same story. Salt film, road grime, and constant freeze-thaw cycles dull the finish and leave it looking tired by March.

Two things we do that make a real difference:

Undercoating — we treat the frame, floor pans, suspension components, and all the hidden areas where rust actually starts. It creates a barrier so the salt and moisture can't reach bare metal all winter.

Ceramic coating — a slick, hard layer over your paint that salt and grime have a much harder time sticking to. Washing becomes easier, the salt film rinses off instead of sitting there, and the gloss holds up through the worst of it.

Best part is doing it now, before the roads get treated. Once salt is down it's already in the seams and we're playing catch-up.

Spots fill quick this time of year (were already booking mid october). Message us and we'll get you on the schedule.

My first question is always “Are you going for privacy or heat rejection”.

This is the perfect (exaggerated) example of what films block for heat.

Upgrading to a ceramic film is the best way to help the heat inside the cabin.

This display has 4 examples….. our regular film, ceramic black, i3 and i3+. They all have a heat sheet taped in front of an infrared bulb simulating the suns heat.

While waiting on the i3+ to show a difference I melted the heat sheet on the regular film.

Another thing to remember is the rear glass on a vehicle might have privacy glass aka “tinted” but typically has no uv protection and definitely no heat rejection.

So while you might upgrade to ceramic but only chose to tint your front windows. Your kids are still in the back seat being baked.
