When your A/C stops blowing cold and a recharge doesn't fix it, the problem might be deeper than you think. Literally.
This Nissan Rogue needed an evaporator core replacement. The evaporator sits behind your dashboard inside the HVAC housing. To get to it, the entire dash has to come apart. Steering column, center console, instrument panel, HVAC box, all of it. Then the refrigerant system has to be evacuated, the old core pulled, the new one installed, everything reassembled, and the system recharged and tested for leaks.
This is one of the most labor-intensive A/C repairs there is. Most shops will quote you for it and hope you say no. Some won't even attempt it because of how many components have to be removed and reinstalled without damaging a single clip, connector, or wire.
We don't shy away from the hard jobs. This is the kind of work that takes patience, experience, and a team that's done it enough times to do it right. Every panel goes back where it came from. Every clip seats properly. No rattles. No leftover bolts.
If your A/C isn't cooling and you've been told it's the evaporator, don't panic. And don't let a shop scare you with the price before they explain what's actually involved. Call us and we'll walk you through it honestly.
