Another Munson Boat rolling out of the shop!

This 34’ PackMan was recently completed for Golden State Bridge, a heavy construction contractor based in Benicia, California.

Built for the demands of marine construction, this vessel is designed to transport construction crews, personnel, and equipment to and from active jobsites on the water. USCG certified for 20 passengers plus 2 crew, this PackMan provides the capacity, durability, and versatility needed to support heavy construction projects.

This marks Golden State Bridge’s third Munson Boat, and we’re proud to continue supplying vessels they can count on to get the job done.

Built for the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, this 32' Munson PackMan landing craft is designed to support personnel transport, equipment handling, and shoreline access in remote areas. The modified vee hull with an 84" bow door allows for efficient beach landings and loading, while outfitting includes a heavy-duty bow door with pedestrian ramp, large push knees, side access door, self-bailing deck system, and a Maxilift M230.3 knuckle boom crane for lifting and recovery tasks. The open T-top console features full glazing, leaning post seating, Garmin navigation electronics, VHF radio, and LED scene lighting for all-weather operation.
Additional features include a 200-gallon fuel system, raw water washdown, anchoring and towing package, and twin Honda outboards with hydraulic jack plates for reliable shallow water performance and versatility.

The City of Fort Pierce, Florida selected this 28’ PackCat as a multipurpose workboat for operations throughout the Intracoastal waterways of St. Lucie County. Built for versatility in the shallow waterways of South Florida. The vessel is equipped to support firefighting, diving, oil spill response, towing, wildlife rescue, and emergency response operations.

With a shallow 16” draft, the PackCat hull allows crews to access areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach. Twin Mercury 200s are mounted on jack plates, allowing the engines to be raised vertically to help protect the motors and propellers while operating in shallow water.

From emergency response to demanding daily operations, Munson Boats are built around the needs of the crews who depend on them.

We’re always excited to launch a new boat, and the completion of this 34’ x 12’ fireboat for Contra Costa County marks the culmination of more than 2,000 hours of hard work.

Powered by triple Mercury 350s, the boat reached a top speed of 42 knots (49 mph) and cruises comfortably at 32 knots (36 mph). Despite weighing 21,000 lbs. and being fully outfitted for fire and rescue operations, it handles and performs more like a sport boat than a heavy duty emergency response vessel.

We’re proud to see this impressive new fireboat complete and ready to serve Contra Costa County.

There’s no better measure of a workboat than how it performs after years on the job.

Delivered in 2022, this 23’ Munson Packman, powered by a Honda 250 outboard jet for extreme shallow water operations, continues to serve Hetch Hetchy Power & Water multiple times each week. Built for demanding conditions and hard use, it has proven to be a true workhorse for their operations.

Built for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, this 30’ Munson PackCat landing craft is designed for patrol, enforcement, and resource operations in coastal and inland waters. The twin-hull catamaran design provides excellent stability and shallow draft capability, while the 64” bow door allows quick deployment of personnel and equipment in remote or undeveloped areas. Outfitting includes Garmin navigation electronics, VHF radio, LED flood lighting, a self-bailing deck system, heavy-duty bow door with 12V winch, dual fuel tanks, and a rugged aluminum finish suited for demanding field use. Additional features include a towing package, deck-mounted winch, hydraulic steering system, and twin Yamaha 200 outboards, creating a durable and highly capable platform for Florida Fish and Wildlife operations.

Another Munson fireboat is nearing completion for Contra Costa County Fire Department.

This new 34’ Munson marks the second fireboat we’ve built for the department and is purpose built for demanding marine emergency response. Equipped with a 1,500 GPM fire pump and powered by triple Mercury 350 outboards, this vessel delivers the performance, capability, and reliability required when every second counts.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Contra Costa County Fire Department and look forward to launching their newest fireboat soon.

Repeat clients are one of the greatest testaments to the quality of a Munson Boat.

Today, we launched the second 38’ Munson patrol boat built for Glacier Bay National Park. Nearly identical to the vessel we delivered two years ago, this repeat build speaks to the proven performance, reliability, and craftsmanship of our boats in one of the most demanding environments in the world.

Powered by triple Mercury 300 outboards, this 38’ patrol vessel reaches a top speed of 40 knots and is built to perform for years to come.

We have spent decades refining our hull designs and outfitting details. This continuous improvement process really shows on the new Liverpool fireboat. This 26’ x 8’6” Packman is one of the most capable 26 footers we have built. The walk around heated cabin features seating for four. Twin Mercury 250’s provide a 50 mph top speed. The roll up door provides great access to the fire pump. It is a stellar overall package.
