“It just needs a quick wipe-down.”

Then I make one pass and my towel comes back a different color. 😅

Now we’re not just wiping off dust. We’re cleaning.

I might need more towels. A brush. A Scrub Ninja. Steam. Compressed air. Whatever it takes to get the buildup out—not just spread it around.

Can a wipe-down be simple? Absolutely. That’s the point of getting on a maintenance schedule every two weeks or once a month. We’re keeping up with it instead of catching up.

But if you wait until the gas light comes on every time, don’t be surprised when you need more than a top-off. 😂

Nothing wrong with needing a deeper clean. Just understand that “a quick wipe” describes what you want, not always what the vehicle needs.

Nothing irritates me more than washing a vehicle, taking one drive, and seeing brake dust all over the wheels again. 😒

Especially when you just spent all that time cleaning them.

That’s why I like coating wheels. Not because they’ll never get dirty. They will. I just want the next cleanup to be easier.

First, we get them properly cleaned. If the finish can be polished, we bring that shine back. Then we can ceramic coat them to help make future cleaning less of a fight.
