“Light, fast, stable, and comfortable. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about the stability…already being familiar with the Shoalie and Smallie and their differences.

The Smallie takes me a few minutes to get acclimated to after being in the Shoalie as it’s much more narrow. The Farside is also narrow. But the stability is WIDE. It feels so familiar, very much similar to the Shoalie.

Like James says in the walk through video about not having to think about it, that’s exactly it. You just sit down in it and paddle.

Probably the most perfect combination of primary and secondary stability I’ve ever felt in a kayak!

Then there’s the ease of paddling. It is faster than the Shoalie, and tracks like it’s on rails. I paddled up into the river instead of heading to the lake today and as long as it was pointed into the current it was like paddling still flat water. The fluted bow just cut into the moving water effortlessly.” - Doug King
