From race cars and golf carts to side-by-sides and smiling faces, our racing family showed up in a big way and proudly represented the spirit of CFMP and the drag racing community. It was amazing to see multiple generations of racers, crew members, families, and friends come together to celebrate our nation’s birthday and share our passion with the community.

Unfortunately, due to the continued rainfall throughout the day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel today’s racing activities.

With the amount of time needed to properly dry and prepare the racing surface, our start time would be pushed well into the late afternoon. We never want to put our racers, crews, and fans in a position where they’re driving home late on a Sunday evening.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we’ve monitored the weather and explored every possible option to get today’s event completed safely. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park very soon.

We are currently on a delayed start for NHRA Summit ET Series Points Race #6 as we continue to monitor the weather pattern moving through the area.

At this time, no decisions have been made regarding today’s racing activities. Our team is keeping a close eye on conditions and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

We’re optimistic and excited for the opportunity to get Points Race #6 completed today and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through the weather.
