Ford has been named the No. 1 mainstream brand in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study, marking its highest ranking since 2010.

The Ford F-150, Mustang and Super Duty each ranked highest in their respective segments for the second year in a row. The Escape, Explorer, Expedition and Maverick also earned top-three finishes—meaning seven out of ten Ford models evaluated placed among the best in their segments.
