Automotive Service Writer is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs. Their duties include, but are not limited to, greeting customers and telling them about the types of services the shop offers, updating customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs, and processing customer transactions upon completion of their vehicle repairs.

* Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely responses.
* Educate clients about the company’s products, services and offers.
* Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges and process payments.
* Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
* Order parts needed for approved services.
* Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.
* Record customer details and transactions.
* Serve as a customer relationship manager.

Qualifications

* You must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and repair orders.
* Be able to speak effectively with customers and coworkers.
* Be able to stand on your feet on hard surfaces like metal or concrete
* Be able to lift and move work related items 50+ pounds
* Expect to work in an environment where you may experience hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes
* Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
* Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
* Have a strong work ethic and be independently motivated to produce results

Automotive Technician is responsible for professionally servicing our customers vehicles, ensuring quality work, and providing an excellent customer experience.

* Ensure service and repair assignments are correctly repaired to maintain high service standard
* Assist with suggesting additional work and communicate information to Service Writer
* Test drive vehicles, and test systems and components, using diagnostic tools
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
* Communicate directly with Service Writer so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.

Truck originally equipped with 5 speed manual, we custom installed 6 speed manual NV5600 transmission! Much better transmission!! Great upgrade for this high powered diesel truck
