October is Fall Car Care Month, so throughout the month, we’re going to break down a few areas of your vehicle that are worth paying attention to. We’re starting under the hood.

A belt usually doesn’t announce that it’s wearing out. Neither does a hose, dirty filter, or loose connection. Most of these parts wear a little at a time, which makes them easy to forget about until something finally gives.

Checking these components gives us a chance to spot cracking, deterioration, buildup, or other signs of wear before a small issue turns into an inconvenient repair.

In Loving Memory of Stephen Miller ❤️

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and teammate, Steve.

Steve came to Mac’s Complete Auto Repair as an employee, but it didn’t take long before he became family. He was one of our rock stars and quickly became a very important part of our success, our team, and the culture we have worked so hard to build.
But Steve’s impact went far beyond the work he did. He truly cared about people.

Steve served every customer who walked through our doors like they were family. He listened, he cared, and he always wanted to make sure people were taken care of the right way. He built relationships and earned people’s trust simply by being himself.

He represented so much of what we want Mac’s Auto to stand for — honesty, kindness, hard work, and genuinely caring for others.
We will miss his friendship, his laughter, his dedication, and simply having him here with us every day. There will forever be a piece of our Mac’s Auto family missing.

We are heartbroken, but we are also incredibly grateful for the time God gave us with Steve and for the difference he made in so many lives.
Rest in peace, Steve. Your chair may be empty, but your place in our family never will be. ❤️
