🎃 It’s a little spooky under the hood today at Swedish Garage! 👻🔧

From cylinder head work on a Land Rover to checking over a Volvo XC60 and getting a classic Saab Viggen Convertible riding right, our shop is staying busy!

Fellow shop owners in the Charlotte / Rock Hill area - beware of this guy calling and buying sets of tires. He’s using stolen credit card info, buying them at retail price (because it isn’t his money) and selling them for $1,500 or so per set. He’s selling them for $500 less than he’s paying.

We contacted CMPD to see if they wanted to maybe stop him and they weren’t interested at all.

Came in this morning and found that someone stole our Elephant Ears. Didn’t share the audio but Bonnie breaks them and then asks Clyde if he thinks they’ll be okay (they won’t, they’re dead now). Clyde then dashes them away to his waiting Hyundai.

We have the plate, we have the video, we have the audio and now - we have the police report.

Everybody knows plants are the gateway theft item. Next comes DVDs followed by nuclear weapons - if they follow the Fast and Furious Franchise arc. Just know Bonnie and Clyde - those Elephant Ears were like family.

Buyer beware. We bought this A/C machine in 2023 and because our fleet is still mostly R134 we’ve used it 4 times. On the 5th time the O2 sensor needs to be replaced. It’s plastic, about the size of a C battery. It’s $700. I’d avoid Bosch/Robinair - the customer service is horrible.

We’re kicking off a fundraiser to support Shelby's daughter Kallie as she heads into her second year of cheer, and we couldn’t be more excited! She absolutely fell in love with it last season, and we’re so proud of how much she’s grown and how hard she works.

From juggling schedules to keeping all the guys in line (which is no small task 😅), you handle it all with strength, patience, and just the right amount of sass (sometimes). We truly don’t know what we’d do without you holding everything together behind the scenes.
