We at Foxfield Races pause to remember Irv Naylor, who passed away earlier this week at the age of 91. One of steeplechase’s most successful and enduring figures, Irv was a multiple-time NSA leading owner and the sport's all-time leading purse earner. Our thoughts are with his family and everyone in the steeplechase community who felt his profound influence.

The history of steeplechase has traditions going back three centuries! At Foxfield Races the history, tradition, and heritage surrounding steeplechase is held dear to us. It remains our biggest motivation for preserving this land that we use to bring one of the premier steeplechase events in the U.S. to our community each Spring and Fall.
