New reskin on a 2000 10 ft Alaskan. Yes that is a splice on the cabover which is only needed on a 10ft with the extended cabover bed.

We have a 2002 10 ft cabover that we are going to do a full rebuild. We are going to strip all skin off, fix any rot issues etc. It currently has two roof vents and an Air Conditioner. Solar could be added along with other upgrades if one wishes. It is a service body model so the floor is 4ft wide for the first 8 ft then it widens to the full width of the bottom which is the same as newer campers. We custom built it 4” wider back in 2002. If interested on tailor making this to your liking let me know.

Nice install of a custom rack that’s adjustable for AirConditioner and vent locations. 2 - 190 watt Zamp Solar Panels attached to the rack and added 2 Expion 360 Lithium batteries.

Installed a Brophy Handrail today. Easy install and feels very stable. Retails between $125-$150 and simple installation.

Not just campers here at Wheat’s Alaskan. Tore out some nasty carpet and put a new floor in a 28ft Bayliner for a customer.

Installed a Torklift handrail on a set of their Glow Steps. Definitely gives a more confidence going up and down the steps.

Installed a Starlink Mini on a customers camper. Nice mounting bracket folds out of the way for travel. The Starlink pops off easily and wire tucks out of the weather. Installed a small inverter for the power source (400W). Nice thing is flexible plans so you can pay for a month when traveling and not pay until you need it again.

Just a friendly reminder spring is around the corner and it will be time to get the camper or RV out and get it ready. Now is a great time to schedule in any repairs before the Spring rush. For the Alaskan Camper folks check your Pirelli weather seals, roof seams etc. If your Camper is winterized wait on those systems until the thaw comes.
For the standard RV owners in SW WA we do work on RV's also. We are not a licensed service center for the big MFG's so the local RV dealers will be the place to go on warranty issues etc. However, if you have an older RV that needs work like water damage repair or a new fridge,furnace,water pump A/C unit, flooring etc give us a call. We also have Expion 360 Lithium Batteries and Zamp Solar products.

Really cool project this week. We had a customer that had his Alaskan built with a 3”taller top a couple years ago. We rebuilt his cabover sides and front 3”taller so he can leave all his bedding on the bed when he lowers the top down.
