Smoke from the Canadian wildfires has moved into our area, creating poor air quality that can affect everyone—especially children, older adults, and those with asthma, allergies, or other breathing conditions.

If you absolutely need to be on the road today, here are a few simple ways to help protect yourself and your family:

🚗 Turn on your vehicle's RECIRCULATION mode.
This keeps your vehicle from continuously pulling smoky outside air into the cabin and instead recirculates the air already inside.

🌬️ Make sure your cabin air filter is in good condition.
Your cabin air filter helps trap dust, pollen, smoke particles, and other contaminants before they enter your vehicle. A dirty or clogged filter can't do its job effectively and may allow more smoke and odors into the cabin.

🚪 Keep your windows closed.
Even cracking a window can quickly let smoky air into your vehicle.

👶 Protect those who are most vulnerable.
If you're traveling with young children, elderly family members, or anyone with respiratory conditions, these simple steps can make a noticeable difference.

What’s Hiding In Your Cabin Air Filter? 👀

Ever wonder what your cabin air filter is catching?

This customer came in for service, and we found their cabin air filter packed with debris—including what appears to be a collection of nutshells left behind by some furry visitors! 🐿️

Your cabin air filter helps keep dust, pollen, dirt, and other contaminants out of the air you breathe inside your vehicle. When it becomes clogged, it can lead to:

❌ Reduced airflow from your vents
❌ Musty odors inside the vehicle
❌ Increased strain on your HVAC system
❌ Poor heating and air conditioning performance

The new filter on the right is what it should look like. The old filter on the left has definitely seen better days!

Regular inspections help catch things like this before they affect your comfort and your vehicle’s performance.

This 25-day, 500-mile trek across Michigan is about making sure no veteran feels forgotten or alone.
