Long before the big-box stores, corporate ownership groups, and out-of-state investors arrived, there was Madras.

This photo captures a different era of our hometown, but one thing remains the same: the people who make this community special.

Since 1937, the Thomas family has been proud to serve the hardworking families, ranchers, farmers, and small business owners of Central Oregon. Through four generations, we’ve watched our communities grow, evolve, and prosper—and we’ve been honored to be part of that journey every step of the way.

Today, we’re proud to remain Central Oregon’s LAST locally owned, family-owned new car dealership.

For nearly 90 years, our mission hasn’t changed:

Austin and his team had it diagnosed so quick and fixed it the same day. While I waited the salesman Tyler showed me some trucks and broncos just to pass the time. A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated to our food drive at Thomas Sales & Service Ford in Madras. Our community always shows up when it matters most, and every can, box, and bag helps support local families in need.
