EVENT CANCELLED AT REDWOOD SMOKE SHACK, TODAY, 10/30TH: 💔 UPDATE from Mrs. Yummy Buns 💔Good morning, Bun Fans! I finally got home from New Jersey around 2am, ready to collapse… only to find the Bun Man still wide awake and working hard! Apparently, sleep is optional when you’re a professional dough dealer. He took a heroic 20-minute power nap, then charged off to the newly approved commissary with his famously detailed list of every single thing he could possibly need.
What happened next? He got to Redwood Smoke Shack, set everything up, had everything looking perfect by 4:30am. Reached for the most important ingredient in the Bun Mobile……and realized he left the DOUGH at the commissary. Yes, the dough!
The actual buns-to-be! By the time he packed everything back up to go retrieve the one thing that makes every BUNTASTIC DAY possible, there just wasn’t enough time left to make the magic happen.
When he came home and told me what happened, I tried so hard not to laugh, but I failed miserably. I am sure laughing hysterically did not help the situation, but sometimes it just happens! So sorry to everyone who was counting on those warm, fluffy, life-changing buns today. The Bun Man will return… and this time the dough will be the very first item on that detailed list. (Possibly written in permanent marker, possibly tattooed on his arm.)
Riddle me this, Hampton Roads: Who is the poorest man in town this morning?
The Bun Man.......Because he has NO DOUGH. 💸😂
