Deposits for appointments aren’t a new concept. We clearly state cancellation of service means forfeiture of the deposit amount. In this case he is upset enough about $240 to try and intimidate us into giving him his money-he won’t get it and he has 0% chance of winning the dispute he threatened us with. It seems this fellow small business owner is quite upset. We will not bend the knee to a customer because they can’t hold their end of the bargain.

Imagine the reverse: you get a new car (he drives a yellow C8 z06) you call to get an appointment and we agree on a date, get a deposit to dedicate a time to work on your vehicle. You show up to your appointment, we walk out and say hey man, yeah we’re gonna have to get you a different date, we went ahead and put someone else in your dedicated slot. YOUD BE FURIOUS RIGHT!? Yeah, rightfully so.

Heaven forbid a small business relying on vehicles coming in the shop to allow us to support 4 families (all with kids) hold strong in their operating procedures and hold customer to what they agreed on. We are made out to be the devil 🤣

I’m sure most of you looking at this are laughing at his description of the events that took place. but then again i’ve always been “rude, arrogant, pushy and bad business person 🤣”
