A thank you to our customers,
We would like to sincerely apologize for any delay in responding to you.
Since the snowstorm, our team has been inundated with customer communications regarding service, which impacted our response time. While we regret the delay, it was important to us that you know your message was received and that we truly appreciate your patience.
Throughout and following the storm, our crews made daily attempts to continue collection services so we could reach as many customers as possible. However, icy road conditions created significant safety concerns. Our drivers were given clear instructions not to attempt service in areas they felt were unsafe. This included untreated roads, hilly areas, and locations where snow plowing had narrowed street access or exit points. In some cases, while a neighborhood itself may have appeared clear, the roads required to reach it may have posed safety risks.
Even with these challenges, our team remained out each day making every effort to service customers because we know how much you depend on us. If we were unable to reach your location last week, we will be returning this week on your regularly scheduled service day. If we were unable to reach your location previously, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We are resuming regular service schedules the week of February 9th. As scheduled, we are collecting Blue Week Recycling. We understand many customers may have overflow, and we are fully prepared to remove it on your scheduled service day. Please place any additional material in secured bags next to your Choice Waste container.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time. While our operations may have required temporary adjustments over the past two weeks, delayed service is not our standard. It takes extreme conditions to prevent us from meeting the timely level of service our customers have come to expect.
Thank you for your continued trust in Choice Waste.
