From that aggressive front end to the gleaming black finish, this Pontiac is proof that sometimes the best way to stand out is to go all black.

THE GOLDEN SAHARA II — A LEGEND REBORN! ✨🏆

Some cars are ahead of their time. This one was practically from another planet!

Originally created in the 1950s by legendary customizer George Barris and Jim Street, the Golden Sahara II became one of the most extraordinary customs ever built, featuring futuristic technology, gold-plated details, and those unforgettable illuminated Goodyear tires the Golden Sahara II was a rolling vision of tomorrow!

After decades out of the spotlight, this automotive icon made a spectacular return.

And there’s a little hometown connection! Phil Marotta and the talented crew at DANRR Auto Body in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, played an important role in bringing this legendary custom back to its former glory for its 2019 SEMA appearance.

We were lucky enough to see this incredible piece of automotive history up close at SEMA!

FIFTY-TWO SHADES OF KUSTOM!

Now THIS is how you give an old pickup some attitude!

This beautiful ’52 Ford custom brings together a cool blue-gray finish, sweeping burgundy flames, wide whites, and plenty of old-school kustom style.

From the slick front end to the beautifully finished bed, there’s something worth admiring from every angle!

We caught this eye-catching pickup at Goodguys Columbus, and it certainly wasn’t blending into the crowd!

Throwing it back to 2017 and one of our favorite fall traditions — the Iron Invasion!

Hot rods, customs, vintage iron, and enough old-school cool to keep us wandering for hours. From beautiful builds to wonderfully weathered survivors, this show always had a personality all its own.

We sure miss those days!

This ‘32 Chevy Coupe isn’t exactly the shy, retiring type!

Known as “The Black Widow,” this sinister street rod packs a towering polished blower, an exposed engine, and enough attitude to make subtlety run for cover!

A ROCKET WITH STYLE!

Some cars catch your eye. Others stop you in your tracks!

Kaoru O'Bryan's gorgeous Oldsmobile was a real standout at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville!

From the deep, mirror-like blue finish and gleaming chrome to that beautifully detailed Oldsmobile Rocket engine, this classic is a rolling work of art.

And let's talk about that pinstriping! The intricate electric-blue designs are the handiwork of Louisville-area pinstriper Taco, whose artistry adds an incredible finishing touch to an already stunning ride!

We had the pleasure of chatting with Kaoru at the show, and we're thrilled to share a closer look at his beautiful Oldsmobile.
