We are still here ! But thanks to 2020 and Covid we have not been able to really do any fundraising we had planned for this year ! And we had so many fun things planned ! Float for a dream kayak trip , bringing our 5k back but to Buzzards Roost this year, we wanted to do a golf outing a concert but covid really shut us down this year 🥲 and still the lack of volunteers or community interest ! We have one Dream paid for and on hold because of covid he’s set to go meet the Patriots and attend a game as soon as we can get a clearance from the team it’s safe for them to go and hopefully meet the team or at least his favorite player 🙏🏻. But this is a little insight about our dream child he’s a type 1 diabetic I have known this little boy since he was a newborn and I was his “nurse” at the pediatric office he was only diagnosed a short time ago after I left the pediatric office ! He’s now in elementary school ! So here is how sweet his heart is and if this doesn’t make you cry I don’t know what will ! One of his grandmas recently passed away and Jace said he would give up his dream of meeting the Patriots he doesn’t want that dream anymore he wants me to grant a new Dream to bring his granny grape back 😭💔 and I have to because that’s his dream ! If only I could wave my magical fairy godmothers wand and grant that dream! Some children want to meet their favorite stars or teams some a new bedroom makeover some a shopping spree some Disney World but this ! Jace has a very huge heart for such a little guy💙 and type 1 diabetes stinks ! But the Dream Factory is one of the only dream granting organizations that grants dreams to kids with Type 1 diabetes ! Each dream has a cap of $6,000.00 and each chapter has to raise their own funds by finding fundraisers, local businesses to support them or make donations, private individual donations etc ! I hate that so many kids are waiting and we don’t have the means to do anything else currently until we can get more people involved or find some grants we can get money thru or some business to donate or have some a friendly competition and donations go to the Dream factory 💜

The event is still on today I just spoke with Shawnee Lanes they are still full speed ahead ! 100 people max which I don’t see a problem with our times ! 12:00, 2:30 and 4:30

We will have bleach wipes, Lysol spray, hand sanitizer on hand
This is totally optional event
We understand if you choose not to participate with the Corona virus

Again if you do just please use good judgement not to expose any children or adults with immune suppressed illnesses or geriatrics

When you do go home I plan on treating it like I do when I’m exposed to anything strip those clothes and shoes down at the door and shower and wash all of that

Constantly wash your hands and disinfect everything!

Again this is an optional event we hope y’all stay healthy have a great weekend! And defiantly continue to follow our page for future events and meetings! We will be having a community new volunteer sign up soon !

The event for Saturday’s bowling is still on! We spoke to Shawnee lanes today and they are still planning on being open so we are a go !
