Hub City Chrome Hub City Chrome owners: Steve & Copper Runyon We opened Hub City Chrome in the fall of 1997. But here we are, 18+ years later. Store, now known as Macy's.

You've all heard the expression of starting a business on a "shoestring", well, we laughinly refer to our opening budget as "dental floss". Hopefully wiser and admittedly much grayer. Steve drove for over 23 years, all the while trying to figure out how to get out of the truck without getting away from trucks. Copper's background came from the Buying offices and Operations/HR Mgmt of the Bon March

We believe that the best form of customer service is PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION of our customers about the product so they can make an educated decision on how to spend their hard-earned money, but most of all QUALITY PRODUCTS. Some of the resources we are proud to offer are: ROCKWOOD PRODUCTS, LIFETIME NUTCOVERS, ROADWORKS MFG, TELTEK GAUGES, FIBERTECH FENDERS, SWITCHCRAFT, MAXXIMA LEDS, DYNAFLEX EXHAUST, V.I.P. STEERING WHEELS, UNITIED PACIFIC AND GRAND GENERAL, to name but a few. Hub City Chrome is located 45 miles north of Klamath Falls, OR on highway 97 at milepost 234 (just look for the dinosaur....you'll know when you see it).

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes, prayers and handmade cards (Darrell & Sarah ❤️) They absolutely help! So far it’s been a painful recovery, but we’re taking it a day at a time. His surgeon said afterwards that he was quite surprised that Steve survived the flight, so….🙏
He takes a few laps around his pickup & gives me the occasional verbal lashing when I try to make him eat something. Thank goodness for Ensure!🥴
Sorry in advance for future momentary closures for his follow up appointments.

Hey everyone! You may have noticed the store closed several days this week. We had a really close call with Steve. He had a “thoracic aortic aneurysm”. Ambulance ride to Klamath Falls and then a helicopter ride to Medford, emergency surgery & a stay in the ICU for several days. All the professionals were quite surprised he made it. But he did! We are so grateful! 🙏
Believe it or not, we got to bring him home today, but he has a long road to recovery.
We love it when you guys honk to say hi when you go by, but I am respectfully requesting that you abstain for a bit. He needs all the rest he can get right now. Probably won’t see him in the store for a week or so until he gets some strength back.

UPDATE: As of Thursday afternoon, we have water agin!🙏🏻 However, we need to stay closed on Friday, the 9th, so we can get the showroom put back together. This has been a very stressful and anxiety ridden journey. So sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and we are grateful for your patience!!! See you Monday the 12th!!!!!
