No CDL required! Must be at least 25 years old.
This position involves both light duty towing and recovery. Applicants should be familiar with operating a rollback or autoloader wrecker. Starting tier pay will depend on experience and if the applicant can work set schedule and willingness to train in other functions at our workplace. We are not a long-distance carrier; we rarely go more than one state away from Ohio. Pro-Tow has been a family-owned business for over 25 years (currently in its 2nd generation), opening our doors in 1994. We're looking to add dedicated team members to become a part of our family! Reporting to Service Manager or designated manager, responsible for the efficient and safe pickup and delivery of customer vehicles to required destination. Operate truck in a safe and legal manner in compliance with safety regulations. Perform all duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures and state or federal laws are always followed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide prompt and courteous service both in person and on the phone.
Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment consistent with company policy.
Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention from all employees.
Be familiar with the procedures for handling all aspects of wrecker equipment.
Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner.
Advise the Manager or Supervisor immediately of all serious complaints or incidents.
Interact with customers to verify vehicle information, condition of vehicle, etc.
Complete condition report as required by customer to complete paperwork related to the pickup and delivery function in an efficient and accurate manner.
Load and unload vehicles safely and free of damage.
Operate truck in compliance with safety regulations.
Assure good operating condition of equipment and facilities. Advise the Manager or Supervisor of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Preferred
Valid CDL with Air Brake and Combination Endorsements is not required.
Working knowledge of equipment operations is a plus

These goals have included but are not limited to Heavy Duty Rotator operator certification, haz-mat technician training, practical experience hauling oversize and even super load combinations. This is all hands-on paid training provided by us to those willing to set goals and achieve them by hard work.
