Sometimes you just need something done right. No time for endless searching and fiddling with questions on vehicle repairs. I learned the easy way this is a place that puts the guesswork away and fine-tooth combs through EVERY aspect of your car's situation and puts it all in print before moving forward. I love that. When the priority is simply to find the issue and fix it right, with a guarantee on the outcome - that's all I care about! Of note, a couple guys here that showcase the human side of the the car repair biz: Robert and Collen. Dang, it's nice to realize there are folks in the people business who also work on cars and trucks! Isn't this what we want, a mechanic who listens and cares what your needs and priorities are with your ride? Straight shooters. They fixed everything right like they said they would. You can tell someone is legit when they take the time to tell you WHY they care about their work and their customers needs. There is a distinction there.UPDATE:I just realized another reason I love these guys - flexibility with time considerations. My old shop was always seeming too busy to help when it was needed most. Rob's so far has never made me feel like getting in when I needed would be a hassle. They are always busy (a good sign) but also always ready to accommodate me when I need them! (Also a good sign!)😊

🚗 The first frosted windshield of the year is a bad time to find out the defroster blows cool.

I've always trusted Rob's. They've always been quick, reliable, fair priced and friendly. I've used them around 5 times for repairs or maintenance. I've been a car salesman and I'm also a home mechanic myself, so I know when I get BS from other shops. I can honestly say I trust these guys. They'll still try to sell you a cabin air filter at the end, lol (just like everyone) but they'll get you back on the road respectively.

🚗 The first serious fall storm always arrives before it feels like it should — and summer-weary oil in a cold engine on a wet morning is the part that starts wearing before the pavement even turns.

Cold, damp starts thicken oil. Moisture condensation builds up faster on short trips through the wet season. Additives deplete faster once mornings drop below 40°F. Small wear that summer heat hid gets amplified the first cold, wet drive.

🛞 The first serious storm of fall arrives sooner than it feels — and worn brake pads that got by all summer are the parts that grab later and unevenly the first time the pavement turns slick.

Wet pavement is harder on brakes than dry. Water thins the friction film off the rotor face. Grit and road slurry grind pads and rotors faster. Slide pins corrode in damp air and one pad ends up doing most of the work. Small wear the summer heat hid gets amplified the day the roads go wet.

What our courtesy brake inspection covers:
