The Boss 302's cylinder heads were never really meant for a 302. Ford took heads designed for the 351 Cleveland, an engine that wouldn't arrive until the following year, and bolted them to a small block, adding a high-nickel block with four-bolt mains. For 1970, the chromed valve covers gave way to cast aluminum, and the forward-facing shaker scoop sat on the options sheet.

This one has that shaker poking through the hood, backed by a numbers-matching 302 and a 4-speed manual. Medium Blue Metallic over a Corinthian White interior, with a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear to keep things honest off the line. A Marti Report comes with it.

The GXP arrived for 2007, and its 2.0 Ecotec turbo was the first direct-injection engine GM put on sale in North America. The Solstice underneath it was a Kappa-platform roadster, front mid-engine and rear-drive, styled by Franz von Holzhausen, who later became Tesla's design chief. Small car, serious bones.

This one went somewhere Pontiac never did. An LS3 V8 sits up front wearing an Edelbrock supercharger, backed by a six-speed and a 3.73 limited-slip rear. It's lowered on coil-overs with SSBC performance brakes to keep up, finished in Flame Red Metallic over Jet Black leather with a removable hard top and 33,729 actual miles.

The Cheyenne name didn't exist when the K5 Blazer launched in 1969. Chevrolet added it as the top trim in 1971, which gave the first-generation Blazer just two model years to wear the badge before the 1973 redesign arrived. That makes a 1972 Cheyenne K5 a short-run piece of the original Action Line era.

This one carries that short run into restomod territory. A 6.0 liter fuel-injected V8 and four-speed automatic handle the driving, Wilwood discs at all four corners handle the stopping, and air ride over 24-inch wheels sets the stance. Orange over a white cloth interior, with air conditioning and Bluetooth audio, and 7,752 miles since the build.

The 80 Series landed in North America for 1991, the first real redesign of the Land Cruiser since 1980. It brought coil springs at both ends, discs at all four corners and full-time four-wheel drive. Under the hood sat the 3F-E, a 4.0 liter fuel injected six largely carried over from the previous generation and known for running forever.

This one has done 94,200 actual miles with a single family, which is barely broken in by Land Cruiser standards. It wears a lift on XD wheels and carries a solar panel, so the camp setup is already sorted. Desert Tan over dark slate gray cloth, four speed automatic, with Bluetooth and a back-up camera for the drive home.

The 2005 GTO arrived from Australia as a Holden Monaro and was re-engineered for the US market. Holden sat the fuel tank below the trunk floor, which could not pass American rear-impact testing, so engineers moved all 18.5 gallons of it up behind the rear seat. Trunk space took the hit.

Pontiac's name also rode on a 5.0L V8 in Grand-Am's Daytona Prototype field, and that is the engine in this black coupe. A six-speed manual sits behind it, with Kooks headers, Wilwood discs on all four corners, a cage and a racing harness. 50,676 actual miles, waiting in Charlotte.
