Terbo Tyler Erb had an impressive 2nd place finish last night. Way to go kid π€ Eldora Speedway Keyser Manufacturing
Terbo Tyler Erb on his second place finish in Thursday's prelim for the Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway:
"It was really good. Obviously, the heat race didn't work out in our favor. Was just able to keep tinkering on this thing. I felt really good yesterday. Just same deal, the tech man, and the whole tech line deal didn't play into my favor. I hope that's two days of [crap] not playing into my favor and Saturday everything just falls into place.
Just got to thank Cody Carl, Caleb Todd, Gunner's with us. Obviously, DJ, Keyser, Mark. They had to rebuild everything after Mansfield. They rebuilt the stuff that I needed. My guys did the work and whatever. Just all my awesome partners and sponsors.
I've watched enough of these races and you don't win very many killing yourself, blowing the deck out. Bobby did a great job and really was just hoping we'd hit traffic and stay in it.
I thought the race was over and I looked up there was 17 laps to go. I was like, 'Well dang, that's pretty good. I'm in second.'
Just go over this thing really well. Obviously, we had a Scott Bailey engine here all weekend. And he's here helping us. Just can't thank him enough for spending all week with us, working on stuff because I don't know anything about a motor and neither do my guys. We're just kinda letting that part play in his hand and it's making our life easier.
Shout out to everybody watching at home Eric Brock. Emma and my baby are here. My mom's here. Kelly B's here. So many people are here. I'm having a blast. Relax tomorrow and see what we got Saturday."
When asked what his Friday looks like, he said, "Drunk. Nah. I'm just kidding. Probably hang out. Obviously, Joel and them guys helped me today so probably be snoopy and maybe he finishes better than me I can learn something and hang out with them and Winger. And everybody that's helping our program. Obviously be here. I'd love to go to the Bahamas for a day, but I ain't got it like that yet. I'm just going to hang out, see what we can learn, and be ready for Saturday."
